Delivery & Returns

Delivery costs

A shipping and handling charge is added to your orders. Additional charges may be applied to some areas of Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Northern Scotland and Scottish Isles, as well as mainland UK for fragile or large items that are sent by specialist transport.

These additional charges can be seen on your cart page and at checkout before you make a purchase. You can also enter your postcode to check for shipping and handling charges for your area. A single amount is charged regardless of how many products you buy unless you split your purchase into multiple deliveries.

Delivery time

Items labelled as 'in stock' are ready to dispatch from our warehouse and can be delivered within 2-5 business days. Other items that show an estimated lead times, like 4-5 business days, are held in stock by our brand partners and may take a few extra days to reach our warehouse before being sent to you. You will get the option to split your deliveries while selecting items with different lead times. Delivery information for each product can be seen from the product page, cart, or checkout.

Products that show 'Delivery from (date)' can be pre-ordered. Pre-ordered items are dispatched as soon as they arrive in our warehouse. Stocked items are received first when purchased, along with a pre-ordered item. However, there are no additional shipping or handling charges in this case. Our team will notify you if there are any changes in the estimated delivery time.

We try our best to make sure that your order reaches you within estimated delivery times. However, sometimes, it may not be the case. We advise you to order 'in-stock' items if you are in a hurry, and please do not book tradespeople based on estimated delivery times. If the item does not reach you within the estimated delivery time, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund.

You can talk to our sales team at 0116 212 3456 to enquire about stock and availability.

When to expect your delivery

Small Items

For smaller, parcel-sized items like locks, latches, and masks, they are shipped out when they are ready, and you will receive a dispatch email. Since a majority of our smaller orders are shipped via DHL, you will usually receive a one-hour time slot on the morning of your delivery and the option to leave safe or rearrange your delivery.

Large items

Large items like doors and fragile products like roof windows are delivered by our specialist delivery partners. You'll receive an email when your order is dispatched to tell you when to expect it. You will later be contacted by our delivery partners via SMS, email or telephone to confirm or arrange delivery. Deliveries are usually made outside your property, so we recommend that you have sufficient help inspecting and carrying in your order. Inspect your order as soon as it arrives and in case of any damage or missing items, notify us within 14 working days.

Please note that if you arranged a delivery time and you aren't there when the delivery team arrives, a re-delivery charge of £30 will be payable.
