Atlantic Fire and Smoke Intumescent Strip is designed to provide a permanent barrier to smoke - particularly important as smoke fumes travel faster and further than the fire itself. In the event of a fire the seal expands to many times its original volume and seals the gap around the door to provide an effective barrier against the passage of fire, smoke and hot gases. The strip comes in a brown or white finish and is moulded from steel to match the other ironmongery installed on the fire door.

• To ensure our CE Certifire latches, deadbolts, locks, and hinges are compliant, intumescent kits or pads must be fitted
• These kits are flexible and pre-made with cut-out lines that can be tailored to the item they are being fitted with
• Check the door's fire rating and ensure you fit the appropriate intumescent protection.
