How Does Buildworld Deliver Product(s)?
We strongly suggest that you do not schedule any installation work until a few days after the expected delivery date.
Somebody needs to be present at the delivery address until 7:00pm on day of delivery, since the carriers we use require a signature to complete the delivery process.
You should be aware that the carrier company drivers won’t carry heavy loads on their own and they will need to see identification before leaving the goods. This is to protect us from Credit Card frauds.
For quick and speedy delivery of product(s), we use the services of various reliable and trustworthy carriers. As soon as the order is ready for dispatch, we will email you or call you to provide you the details of the carrier company. For ease of tracking, we provide you with a tracking number for each delivery, and you can track your shipment directly from the carrier company's website.
We deliver all across UK, Scotland and Ireland(*). On a fewer occasion's the Carrier company will call you and will fix the time of delivery, and would deliver the items ordered on the given date. Sometimes you may get a direct delivery from the supplier, on that occasion; we won't be able to provide you with a tracking number, but we would let you know the date on which item would be delivered.
All product(s) will be delivered on normal working days. There will be no deliveries on public holidays. All delivery times quoted are based on product(s) leaving our warehouse, and NOT from the time you place your order.
Carrier Companies
For Small & Medium Parcel Size, the carrier companies we use are Buildworld's Own Delivery Network, Yodel, DPD, Fedex & Interlink.
For Large & Bulky Parcel Size, the carrier companies we use are Buildworld's Own Delivery Network and Pallex.
