Rothley's origins are rooted in the zeitgeist of the industrial revolution, conceived in 1826, as a tube factory by Birmingham based founder George Burn. Rothley's success in tube production opened avenues in manufacturing cabinet hardware and metal hardware products. With customizable tubes and pre-packed hardware Rothley emerged as a key player in the DIY revolution of the 1970's and went on to become one of the first to supply its products to DIY stores in the UK. Attributing its success to healthy customer relationships Rothley's core philosophy of hardware made easy for customers has resulted in a strong presence across distinct categories.

Armed with self-closing bottom—Mounted Drawer Slides; equipped with full extension—Ball Bearing Drawer Slides; and prefigured to match 4 different height settings—Keyboard Drawer Slide. Rothley has all its sliding door systems checked and certified under the BS EN1527 regulations.

Steel manufactured, coated in chrome or anti-microbial white coating, Rothley's shelving range is well suited to properties in the public and private sphere equally effective for commercially inclined and the home turf. Safety Rails are available in ABS plastic, steel, and stainless steel with specific packaging for retail and bulk orders. Coat-Hook Rails crafted according to both modern and traditional sensibilities are available in diverse materials which include: brass and chrome, wood, and aluminium.
